Future Stars Welcomes Heroes

For the first time, Future Stars includes Heroes, players who became household names at a very young age. Micah Richards and Cesc Fàbregas lead the pack as the initial Future Stars Heroes:

Micah Richards: debuted as the youngest defender called to England, made an early impact at Manchester City, lifted domestic trophies and later captained Aston Villa. He’s available as an SBC reward from day one.

Cesc Fàbregas: La Masia graduate turned world-class midfielder; moved to Arsenal at 17, won domestic and European honours with club and country, and remains one of the best examples of early stardom.

These Heroes bring narrative weight and collectible value to your FUT squad — and they slot naturally into the Future Stars theme.

Create your Future Stars Academy Player

How to get started:

Choose your player: pick any eligible player born on or after 30 January 2004 (21 or under).
- Optionally, use one of the 11 Starter Players from the Future Stars Academy Pack to begin quickly.
Sign your Player to the Academy: apply the Future Stars Academy Contract (available from 30 January). This grants the Academy rarity, full chemistry in position and is required for all later Academy Evolutions. Don’t downgrade the rarity or you’ll lock the path.
- A second Academy Contract (so you can complete the path a second time on a different player) becomes obtainable via the Future Stars Youth Cup Objective starting 6 February 2026.
Make your Debut: use a Debut Evolution (DEF / MID / ATK) to upgrade the player to 86 OVR according to the chosen position path.
Unlock Academy Roles: once signed, the player can receive Role++ across outfield positions (LB/RB/CB/CDM/CM/LM/RM/CAM/ST etc.), defining how they perform in different slots.
First XI Upgrade: after Debut, position-specific Evolutions take the player from 86 → 88 OVR.
Club Legend: finish the chain with Club Legend Evolutions (DEF / MID / ATK) to raise the player from 88 → 90 OVR.

You must complete the required Scouting Report evolutions (Standard and Advanced) to reach the final Club Legend stage.

Future Stars Youth League & Cup

Compete in the Future Stars Youth League and the Youth Cup across the campaign. Complete weekly play and win Objectives to earn Packs and Evolution rewards.

The Youth Cup Objective group (in Week 2) unlocks the second Academy Contract — enabling the full Academy path for a second player.

Also look out for Event returns: Ultimate Gauntlet (10th iteration) and Flash Rush events with Future Stars Academy Evolutions.

New Squad Building Challenges

Expect a wide variety of SBCs: Future Stars Player Items, ICON/Hero SBCs, Flashback SBCs and themed Challenge SBCs that feed into ICON Swaps and the Academy economy.

SBCs will be an important source of Evolutions, Tokens and starter items for your Academy project.

Hints & Tips

Pick a 2-position player (e.g., CAM/LM) to get more flexibility from Role++.
Save Evolutions for the positions you actually plan to use — the path is expensive in objectives and consumables.
Use Starter Players if you want a fast lane to the Debut evolution.
Plan your PlayStyle+ choices around the role you want (e.g., Anticipate for strikers, Incisive Pass for creative mids).
