Manager Live gets three new challenges, including a unique retro kit reward for lifting the FA Cup with Chelsea or Manchester City.
Meanwhile, Live Start Points have been refreshed with the latest May 2026 standings, and all the major European cup finals are now playable – from the Champions League final between Arsenal and PSG to the Europa League and Conference League deciders.
Plus, the newly added ICONs – Zidane, Drogba, and Garrincha – are now unlocked for Player Career. Let’s dive into everything new.
EA FC 26 Career Mode
New Manager Live Challenges
Head to the Season Deciders tab on your Manager Live Hub page to find three brand-new challenges.
1. Avoid The Drop

Players can now take control of Widzew Łódź and attempt to avoid relegation from the top division.
Objectives include:
- Beat Lechia Gdańsk before May 30, 2026
- Avoid relegation until May 30, 2026
This challenge is focused entirely on survival football, where every point becomes crucial late in the season.
2. Gorgie Uprising

This challenge allows players to manage Heart of Midlothian and recreate their impressive campaign.
Objectives include:
- Reach a transfer profit of at least $2,000,000 before May 30, 2026
- Win the Scottish Premiership
- Beat Celtic before May 30, 2026
- Additional objectives available in-game
This scenario combines smart squad management with on-pitch success, making it one of the more complete Career Mode experiences currently available.
3. Trophy Triumph

EA FC 26 also added a new domestic cup final challenge featuring Chelsea and Manchester City.
Objectives include:
- Win the Emirates FA Cup before May 18, 2026
Completing the challenge rewards players with two retro kits:
- Chelsea 1981 Retro Kit
- Manchester City 2002 Retro Kit
How to Use the Retro Kits: Start a new Manager Live career → New Career → New Full Career → then choose: Authentic Club, ICONs & Heroes, or Create Your Club. It’s same as Original Career Mode.
If players choose an authentic club, the retro kits are linked directly to Chelsea and Manchester City. Meanwhile, Create Your Club users can freely use those classic kits for their custom teams.
