We are entering the final months of EA FC 26. The cycle is nearing its end, but the game won’t be leaving quietly; there are some final, powerful title updates coming.
A series of final major updates is about to hit all platforms – PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
The centrepiece is Title Update v1.6.0 (likely the last major patch), followed by minor versions (v1.6.1, v1.6.2, etc.).
And the crown jewel is “The World’s Game Tournament” – the generic but deeply authentic World Cup 2026 mode we’ve been reporting for weeks.
Over 50 national teams, new kits, stadiums, balls, broadcast packages, and a massive wave of real faces are coming. Let’s break down every final addition you can expect in June and July.

EA FC 26 Final Updates
World Cup 2026 Mode
The headline attraction. The World’s Game Tournament (World Cup 2026 Mode) is a generic but fully featured World Cup 2026 experience, complete with a custom logo, trophy, and well‑designed graphics. It will include:
- Over 50 authentic national teams (all 48 qualified nations plus a few extras).
- Official‑style kits for most nations.
- A custom trophy (already seen on EA FC Mobile’s announcement cover).
- New match balls (including the adidas 2026 World Cup ‘Trionda’ and Final Pro balls, thanks to EA’s partnership with adidas).
- New stadiums (see below).
- Full 26‑player final squads with real‑face players returning.
The update is expected to drop alongside or shortly after Title Update 1.6.0 – likely in the first week of June.
Balls
A partnership between EA and adidas will likely bring the adidas 2026 World Cup ‘Trionda’ and the adidas FIFA World Cup 26™ Final Pro balls to the tournament.
Additionally, based on patterns from EA FC 25, we may see new season balls for 2026‑2027:
- PUMA Premier League 2026‑2027
- PUMA LA LIGA EA SPORTS 2026‑2027
- PUMA Stellar Nitro Serie A 2026‑2027

Kits
Many clubs and national teams are scheduled to receive final updates to their kits, and we will explain them in detail below.
Tottenham Hotspur – Their generic fourth kit (added in v1.5.1) will be replaced with the official fourth kit. That means their fourth kit will be added via the final updates. One last chance.
AS Roma – The home, away, third, and goalkeeper kits are set to be updated in EA FC 26 via the final updates. Also, one last chance.
Independiente – Their new 2026 away kit (teased on social media) is coming. It might be added to EA FC 26 via the final updates.
CONMEBOL Libertadores & Sudamericana clubs – Missing 2026 kits for Racing Club, River Plate, and Rosario Central (and others) will be added.
All existing national teams (Argentina, England, France, Germany, Spain, etc.) will receive new home, away, and goalkeeper kits. The USA already got theirs a few weeks ago.
The full list includes: Argentina, Croatia, Czechia, Denmark, England, Finland, France, Germany, Ghana, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Mexico, Morocco, Netherlands, Northern Ireland, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Republic of Ireland, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Scotland, Spain, Sweden, Ukraine, and Wales.

National Teams
For The World’s Game Tournament, over 21 licensed national teams are being added. Confirmed ones include:
- Brazil, Uruguay, Türkiye, Canada, Curaçao, Haiti, Panama, Indonesia, IR Iran, Iraq, Uzbekistan, Tunisia.
- Plus the rest of the qualified World Cup nations: Belgium, Colombia, Australia, New Zealand, Egypt, and others (bringing the total to over 50).
It seems like it will be a strong tournament in the game and has a lot of originality, even though it is unlicensed.
Stadiums
A new generic stadium appeared in the Brazil National Team announcement trailer – likely coming in the final updates.
Additionally, four stadiums already sitting in the database files will be unlocked. They are probably from this list of North American World Cup hosts:

- MetLife Stadium
- Arrowhead Stadium
- NRG Stadium
- Levi’s Stadium
- SoFi Stadium
- Lincoln Financial Field

A new graphics and broadcast package for The World’s Game Tournament is coming – hopefully close to the official World Cup look.
