Big news for authenticity lovers: multiple credible reports and database signals suggest EA FC 26 will receive a major CONMEBOL Libertadores / Sudamericana update in late March — early April 2026.
That update may bring a significant wave of licensed Brazilian clubs and real faces to the console/PC game.
This would be the most important South American content push for EA FC since the FIFA-era days, and it could restore many Brazilian players and stadiums to the series.
Below you will find everything you want to know about the fourteen clubs and the real faces to come. Enjoy reading and don’t forget to always follow us for the latest news.

14 Brazilian Clubs Confirmed
A total of 14 Brazilian teams will be fully represented in this major expansion. While many are already, this update will refresh their kits and, most importantly, their rosters.
New Arrivals: Mirassol joins the Libertadores lineup, while legends Santos and RB Bragantino will be added to the Sudamericana content with official branding and kits.
The “Big Seven” Refresh: Giants like Flamengo, Corinthians, Palmeiras, Cruzeiro, Fluminense, Botafogo and Bahia will receive their 2026 kits and authentic player names in the Libertadores section.
Sudamericana Contenders: São Paulo, Grêmio, Atlético Mineiro, and Vasco da Gama are also set for complete kit and roster overhauls.
List of Clubs:
- Mirassol
- RB Bragantino
- Santos
- Flamengo
- Corinthians
- Palmeiras
- Cruzeiro
- Fluminense
- Botafogo
- Bahia
- São Paulo
- Grêmio
- Atlético Mineiro
- Vasco da Gama
Bottom Line: Botafogo and Bahia have the clearest confirmations through club/mobile reporting and community trackers; several other big Brazilian clubs are repeatedly mentioned and appear in EA database traces — but EA has not published a single official “all-clubs” list yet.
Real Faces Incoming
The most exciting part of this update is the restoration of “Real Faces.” Because many Brazilian stars previously played in Europe, their high-quality scans are already tucked away in the EA database. This update will officially “unlock” them.

Some of these players are available in the database files of EA FC 26. EA will only need to unlock them via a squad update. Let’s see them.

Those database signals are the reason the leak chatter is so confident that “real faces” will come back with the Libertadores/Sudamericana push — EA appears to already have a lot of the assets in place; squad updates would simply flip them live.
Final Whistle
This update isn’t just about names on a screen; it’s about making the CONMEBOL modes truly playable. For Career Mode fans, this means the South American scouting network will finally feel alive.
For Ultimate Team players, this opens the door for special “Libertadores” items for some of the biggest names in world football who are now playing their trade in Brazil.
Stay tuned as we move closer to the March/April launch window. We will continue to track every new player scan and kit leak as they emerge.
