EA FC 26: New Licensed National Teams are Coming!

EA FC 26 is moving toward a much bigger international football setup, and the most important news is now official: Brazil is coming back.

The Brazilian Football Confederation and EA announced a new multi-year licensing and marketing partnership during gamescom latam, with the collaboration covering both EA FC 26 and EA SPORTS FC Mobile.

Now, we have concrete updates on three major nations: Canada, Indonesia, and Türkiye. Let’s break down every confirmed and rumored national team addition.

EA FC 26 National Team

Brazil National Team

As we predicted and exclusively reported, the Brazilian National Team is officially coming to EA FC 26.

The announcement was made during gamescom latam, with a new multi-year partnership between the CBF and EA SPORTS.

The Seleção will feature its official kit, crest, and – crucially – authentic real-world players with their real faces.

This marks the first time since FIFA 23’s World Cup mode that Brazil will be fully licensed in an EA football game. For Career Mode and Ultimate Team players, this is massive news.

Canada National Team

According to our sources, the Canada National Team is also coming to EA FC 26 as a fully licensed squad.

The last time Canada appeared as a licensed national team in EA FC/FIFA was back in FIFA 23. Now, they’re back – and just in time for their role as a co-host of the 2026 World Cup.

Canada boasts several players with existing real faces in EA FC 26, including Dayne St. Clair, Alphonso Davies, Jonathan David, Alistair Johnston, and Derek Cornelius. Expect the “Canucks” to be fully playable in the upcoming World Cup mode.

Indonesia National Team

In a surprising but welcome addition, the Indonesia National Team is coming to EA FC 26 as a licensed nation, according to our sources.

This will be the first time Indonesia appears as a fully authentic national team in an EA football game. Notably, EA was recently spotted as a sponsor on the official website of the Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI) – though it was later removed.

Indonesia currently has one player with a real face in the game: Jay Idzes, who plays at Sassuolo. More Indonesian stars will likely be added with proper scans in future updates.

Türkiye National Team

Türkiye’s national team coach has teased a “huge surprise” coming in June for EA FC 26 – something Turkish players have been waiting years for.

The most logical interpretation is the addition of the Turkey National Team as a fully licensed squad for the World Cup 2026 mode.

The last time Turkey was fully licensed was in the UEFA EURO 2024 mode of EA FC 24. Turkey has a wealth of real-faced players in EA FC 26, including Kenan Yıldız, Hakan Çalhanoğlu, Arda Güler, Orkun Kökçü, and Abdülkerim Bardakcı.

A June update would align perfectly with the “Festival of Football” Title Update we’ve previously reported.

Other National Teams

Many more nations are expected to join EA FC 26 for the World Cup 2026 mode. However, it’s not yet clear which of these will be fully licensed (official kits, crests, real players) versus generic (real players but generic branding). The list includes:
