EA FC 26 is about to receive brand-new squad updates over the next few days, and fans have plenty to look forward to.
From fresh managerial appointments to the arrival of new player faces, the next update is shaping up to make Career Mode and Kick Off even more authentic. Here’s everything you need to know.

Added Managers
Several managerial changes will soon be reflected in the game via squad updates over the next few days.
Borja Jiménez, the newly appointed Sporting Gijón boss, will finally join EA SPORTS FC 26. Known for his tactical flexibility and energetic sideline presence, he’ll be available in both Kick Off and Manager Career modes once the update rolls out.
Another addition is Sean Dyche, who has taken over at Nottingham Forest. His disciplined defensive setups and high-intensity pressing style will now be available for players to experiment with in Career Mode.
Alongside him, Alessio Dionisi returns to Serie A as Empoli FC’s new manager and will also make his in-game debut through the same update.
Rafael Benítez, the experienced Spanish tactician now leading Panathinaikos, will also be included. Fans can take charge of the Greek club under his leadership in Career Mode or Kick Off.
Meanwhile, Sérgio Conceição has joined Al Ittihad and will soon appear in EA FC 26 with his signature aggressive footballing philosophy.
Finally, Graham Potter, now appointed as the manager of Sweden’s Men’s National Team, will also be added and playable in Kick Off mode.
Removed Managers
With new names coming in, some managers will be removed in the upcoming squad update.
Gabi Fernández, previously managing Real Zaragoza, will no longer appear in standard modes but will still be available through Live Start Points.
The same applies to Ange Postecoglou, the outgoing Nottingham Forest coach, and Russell Martin, who previously managed Rangers FC.
Added Players
This squad updates isn’t just about managers — several players are also getting upgraded with their real faces, bringing more realism to your matches.
Among them is Josh Dasilva of Brentford, a creative central midfielder who can also play in attacking roles. With an overall rating of 73 and potential of 75, he offers balance between control and power in midfield.
Jaïro Riedewald of Sheffield United is another addition, known for his versatility across defensive midfield and central positions. His composure and tactical understanding make him a reliable choice, rated 73 overall.
Tom Lockyer from Luton Town also joins the lineup, bringing solid defensive awareness and leadership at the back with a 73 overall rating.
Meanwhile, Fabio Borini, the experienced Italian forward now at Salford, will feature with his updated face as well. Capable of playing as a winger, striker, or attacking midfielder, Borini maintains a 74 overall rating, offering flexibility in attack.
Jeremy Dudziak from Hertha BSC also receives a real face update. The versatile player, capable of covering multiple midfield and defensive roles, is rated 69 overall.
Lastly, Perth Glory’s Tom Lawrence will now appear with his real likeness in EA FC 26. The creative midfielder and former Derby County player sits at 72 overall, bringing flair and composure to the A-League.
