EA FC 26 CONMEBOL Libertadores and CONMEBOL Sudamericana

South American football is about to get a whole lot bigger in EA FC 26. This is a very welcome and confirmed move.

Following the opening stages of the 2026 CONMEBOL Libertadores and CONMEBOL Sudamericana, a massive wave of new clubs is set to arrive via a future Title Update in April.

We’re talking 27 new teams from across the continent—including Brazilian giants Santos, Colombian powerhouses Millonarios and Junior, and many more.

If you’ve been craving more authentic South American flavor in Career Mode or Ultimate Team, your wait is almost over. Let’s break down every club joining the game.

EA FC 26 New Teams

The first stages of South America’s premier club competitions have confirmed the participants, and EA SPORTS is responding by expanding its already impressive roster of CONMEBOL teams.

When the April update drops, these 27 clubs will be added with their official branding, kits, and some of authentic players.

Brazil (3 Clubs)

The big news here is the return of a true giant:

  • Santos: Yes, that Santos. The club of Pelé, Neymar, and countless legends is coming back to EA FC with full licensing. The wait is over.
  • Mirassol: The up-and-coming club joins the Brazilian contingent.
  • RB Bragantino: The Red Bull-backed club continues its presence in the game.

Colombia (5 Clubs)

Colombian football gets a massive injection of authenticity with five new clubs:

  • Santa Fe: One of Bogotá’s biggest clubs.
  • Junior: The Barranquilla powerhouse, known for its passionate fans.
  • Independiente Medellín: The DIM, a regular in continental competition.
  • Deportes Tolima: Consistent performers in recent years.
  • Millonarios: The other Bogotá giant, with a massive following.

Chile (3 Clubs)

Three Chilean clubs join the ranks:

  • Coquimbo Unido
  • O’Higgins
  • Audax Italiano

Ecuador (2 Clubs)

  • Deportivo Cuenca
  • Macará

Uruguay (2 Clubs)

  • Juventud
  • Montevideo City

Paraguay (1 Club)

  • Recoleta

Peru (2 Clubs)

  • Cusco
  • Alianza Atlético

Venezuela (2 Clubs)

  • Universidad Central
  • Deportivo La Guaira

Bolivia (3 Clubs)

  • Always Ready
  • Blooming
  • Independiente Petrolero

We hope that these additions will be in the first April updates and that they will include many real faces.

What This Means for Players?

When the Title Update drops in April, players can expect:

  • Full Authenticity: Official kits, high-resolution crests, and updated squad rosters for all the mentioned clubs.
  • Tournament Integration: These teams will be fully playable in the standalone CONMEBOL Libertadores and Sudamericana tournament.
  • Career Mode Realism: New scouting opportunities and realistic continental competition draws as these clubs populate the South American ecosystem.

When Can We Play Them?

The clubs will arrive via a Title Update in April, alongside the usual Squad Update to activate all the new players, kits, and assets. ReFIFA will provide the exact release date as soon as EA SPORTS announces it.

Final Whistle

The return of Santos alone is worth celebrating—but 27 new South American clubs? That’s a game-changer.

Whether you’re a fan of Colombian passion, Chilean grit, or Uruguayan tradition, the April update will make EA FC 26 the most authentic South American football experience ever.

Start planning those Career Mode saves now. The continent’s giants are coming, and they’re bringing their full authenticity with them.

ReFIFA will keep you updated on the exact release date and all the player additions that follow.
