New CONMEBOL Updates
The official 2026 CONMEBOL Libertadores group stage is now available in EA FC 26 through the latest update. Players can start a new Tournament Mode or use Career Mode to try it.
The official 2026 CONMEBOL Sudamericana group stage is also now available, but this one can only be started through a new Career Mode save in Manager Career or Player Career.
There are also some club changes connected to competition qualification.
Atlético Nacional, Bahia, and Universidad Católica were not qualified for the 2026 CONMEBOL Libertadores or Sudamericana, so they are now available in the Rest of World section.
EA has these clubs as partners, which is why they remain in the game even when they are not part of the current competition setup.
The update also notes that Bahia and Botafogo are now EA partners. They are available in EA FC 26, although they have not received authentic real-world players in the console version yet.
ReFIFA notes that their authentic players are already available in EA FC Mobile and are expected to arrive on consoles later as well.
There is also a major upcoming announcement to watch. On May 3 at Gamescom LATAM, EA will exclusively announce new developments for Brazilian football in EA FC video games.
That could be the moment when fans finally learn more about the Brazil National Team and authentic real-world players for Brazilian clubs.
