EA FC 26 Serie A License Juventus FC

Okay EA FC 26 fans, let’s talk about the big issue that has been troubling EA SPORTS FC fans for years – the whole Serie A licensing mess. If you’ve been following ReFIFA for a while, you know exactly what I’m talking about.

The Serie A league has been this constant source of drama and confusion, and honestly, it’s getting exhausting trying to keep track of who’s licensed and who isn’t.

In this article, we’ll discuss Serie A licensing, specifically Juventus FC. Future articles will cover the rest of the league’s clubs. Let’s get started:

Table of Contents

  • The Good News About Serie A
  • The Bad News About Serie A Clubs
  • The Juventus FC Situation

The Good News About Serie A

Here’s what we can actually celebrate with our fans and gamers: Serie A Enilive will exclusively remain fully presented in EA FC 26.

This means we’re getting the real deal – the official league branding, that iconic logo, the authentic match balls, and most importantly, that beautiful trophy that every Serie A fan dreams of lifting.

Also, EA FC 26 will give you the exclusive Serie A Enilive experience, including fully authentic matchday branding, broadcast packages, and pre-match atmosphere.

This is all thanks to that multi-year partnership between Lega Serie A and Electronic Arts, which honestly feels like a lifeline in this chaotic licensing world.

The Bad News About Serie A Clubs

Now, here’s the part that’s going to make you want to pull your hair out – having the league license doesn’t automatically mean we get all the clubs.

I know, I know, it sounds ridiculous, but that’s just how the football licensing world works these days.

EA SPORTS still has to negotiate individual deals with each club, and let me tell you, some of these negotiations can get pretty intense.

So we’re basically playing a waiting game to see which clubs will be fully authentic in EA FC 26 and which ones will show up with those generic names and kits that make us all cringe a little inside.

Follow us to learn more about the Serie A League’s licenses, as we will discuss all clubs in the upcoming articles.

The Juventus FC Situation

Let’s dive into the big one – Juventus FC. It was such an exciting experience, that I feel sorry for Juventus fans who just want to play for their favorite team without any hassle.

# Fully Licensed From 2022

EA FC 25 Juventus FC Team

Remember back in July 2022 when EA announced that exclusive partnership with Juventus? Finally, after years of that “Piemonte Calcio” nonsense, we were getting the real Juventus back.

For three great games – FIFA 23, EA FC 24, and EA FC 25 – Juventus was back in all its authentic glory.

The real name, the iconic crest, authentic kits (those beautiful black and white stripes), and their home ground “Allianz Arena” stadium.

EA even went all out with the face scanning sessions. We got incredible new Real Faces for Bremer, Manuel Locatelli, Dušan Vlahović, Federico Gatti, and so many others.

# Konami On The Line

Konami Juventus FC License

But here’s where things get really interesting, and honestly a bit concerning.

That exclusive partnership deal between EA and Juventus seems to have reached its expiration date, and nobody’s talking about whether it got renewed.

The silence is deafening, and in the licensing world, silence usually isn’t good news.

What’s really got people talking is what happened over at eFootball a few weeks ago. They quietly added an official Juventus kit to their game database.

Now, I’m not saying this definitely means anything, but come on – when was the last time Konami made moves like this without having something bigger planned?

# Juventus FC or Piemonte Calcio in EA FC 26

EA SPORTS FC Piemonte Calcio Team

If Konami has indeed secured an exclusive deal with Juventus (and I really hope I’m wrong about this), we could be looking at a return to the dark days of “Piemonte Calcio” in EA FC 26.

It’s not just about the real name or the logo – it’s about the connection fans feel to their team.

When you’re playing Career Mode and trying to rebuild Juventus, it just doesn’t hit the same when you’re technically managing “Piemonte Calcio” instead of the real authentic team.

The Serie A licensing situation has been a rollercoaster for years now, and honestly, I think we’re all just tired of the uncertainty.

We want to know that when we fire up EA FC 26, our favorite Italian clubs will be there in all their authentic glory, not hiding behind generic names and fake kits.

Final Whistle

Serie A Enilive is definitely staying in EA FC 26, and that’s something to celebrate.

But the individual club situations, especially with Juventus, are still up in the air. It’s frustrating, it’s unpredictable, and it’s probably going to keep us guessing right up until the game’s release.

All we can do is wait, hope, and maybe prepare ourselves for the possibility that some of our favorite clubs might not be quite as authentic as we’d like them to be in EA FC 26.

ReFIFA will monitor official news to inform fans how Serie A clubs, especially Juventus, will appear in the next installment.

F.A.Q

  • Will Serie A be fully licensed in EA FC 26?

Yes! Serie A Enilive will remain fully licensed in EA FC 26, including the official league branding, logo, match balls, trophy, authentic matchday atmosphere, and broadcast packages. This is guaranteed through EA’s multi-year partnership with Lega Serie A. However, individual club licenses are separate deals that EA must negotiate with each team.

  • What’s happening with Juventus FC in EA FC 26?

The situation with Juventus is uncertain right now. Their exclusive partnership with EA that brought them back as a fully licensed club in FIFA 23, EA FC 24, and EA FC 25 appears to have expired. There are concerns that Konami (eFootball) may have secured a new exclusive deal with Juventus, which could mean the club returns as “Piemonte Calcio” with generic branding in EA FC 26, similar to how it appeared in FIFA 20, FIFA 21, and FIFA 22.

  • Why don’t all Serie A clubs automatically come with the league license?

Football licensing works in separate layers. While EA has secured the Serie A Enilive league license (covering the competition itself), individual club licenses must be negotiated separately with each team. This means EA SPORTS must sign individual deals with clubs to include their authentic names, crests, kits, stadiums, and other branding elements. Some clubs may choose exclusive partnerships with other games, leaving EA FC 26 to use generic versions of those teams.
