EA FC 26 Serie A License About Lazio, Atalanta and Other Clubs

As we covered earlier, Serie A Enilive is fully licensed in EA FC 26—complete with the official league name, logo, trophy, broadcast packages, and matchday atmosphere thanks to a multi-year partnership between Lega Serie A and EA.

However, that agreement doesn’t automatically cover each club’s branding—EA must secure individual club licenses, leaving fans eager to know which teams will appear authentically and which might keep generic identities.

Here’s a deep dive look at SS Lazio, Atalanta BC, and the rest of the Serie A clubs.

The SS Lazio Situation

EA FC 26 License for SS Lazio

In December 2020, SS Lazio signed an exclusive multi-year partnership with Konami’s eFootball, making Lazio’s license exclusive to Konami titles.

As a result, in FIFA 22, FIFA 23, EA FC 24, and EA FC 25, Lazio appeared as “Latium,” with a custom badge, generic kits, and a placeholder stadium.

Their last authentic in-game appearance was FIFA 20/21, including real name, crest, kits, and Stadio Olimpico.

The Konami-Lazio deal appears to have expired. Given that AS Roma secured an EA partnership in July 2024, and considering the two Rome clubs often align deals together, ReFIFA believes there’s strong chance SS Lazio may sign a multi-year partnership with EA for the game. If so:

Return as Fully Licensed: Lazio would appear under their real name, crest, and authentic kits.

Stadio Olimpico Authenticity: The iconic ground would return in EA SPORTS FC 26, letting players experience matchday under Rome’s famous stadium bowl.

New Face Scan: We will see new face scans for SS Lazio players in EA SPORTS FC 26, including Ivan Provedel, Nicolò Rovella, Adam Marušić, Manuel Lazzari, and others—would receive accurate real face, deepening immersion when managing or facing Lazio squads.

Seeing SS Lazio authentically in the game means Career Mode and Ultimate Team experiences feel tied to real-life passion.

The Atalanta BC Situation

EA FC 26 License for Atalanta BC

In May 2021, Atalanta BC entered an exclusive partnership with Konami’s eFootball PES series, making them appear as “Bergamo Calcio” with generic assets in FIFA 22, FIFA 23, EA FC 24, and EA FC 25. Their last authentic inclusion was FIFA 21.

With the previous Konami exclusivity likely expired, EA has the opportunity to negotiate with Atalanta for EA FC 26. ReFIFA is optimistic but awaiting confirmation. If EA secures a deal:

Fully Licensed Atalanta BC: Real name, crest, and kits would return.

Gewiss Stadium Arrival: Atalanta’s home ground could appear authentically, immersing players in Bergamo’s atmosphere.

New Face Scan: We will see new face scans for Atalanta BC players in EA FC 26, including Marco Carnesecchi, Charles De Ketelaere, Éderson, Mario Pašalić, and others, enhancing realism as you develop or compete against Atalanta in Career Mode.

Rest of Serie A Clubs

The rest of Serie A Enilive clubs will exclusively be presented as fully licensed in EA FC 26, as part of the partnership between EA and Lega Serie A.

That includes Bologna, Cagliari, Como, Fiorentina, Genoa, Hellas Verona, Lecce, Parma, Sassuolo, Torino, Udinese, Torino, and Cremonese.

Note that Udinese’s home ground, “Bluenergy Stadium“, will remain fully presented in EA FC 26.

Also, we will see more missing face scans for the rest of the Serie A players, including Charalampos Lykogiannis, Mërgim Vojvoda, Pietro Terracciano, Lameck Banda, and others.

Final Whistle

EA FC 26 will deliver the genuine Serie A Enilive journey—from official league branding to immersive broadcast packages.

Yet individual club deals shape whether teams like SS Lazio and Atalanta BC return authentically or remain generic placeholders.

ReFIFA’s insight suggests potential EA partnerships for Lazio and Atalanta following expired Konami exclusives, but fans should watch for official news.

Updated face scans for players across the league deepen realism, making Career Mode stories and Ultimate Team builds richer.

ReFIFA will keep you updated as licensing confirmations emerge—ensuring you’re ready to experience the true spirit of Italian football.

FAQ

  • Is Serie A Enilive fully licensed in EA FC 26?

Yes. The league-wide deal with Lega Serie A guarantees official branding, trophy visuals, match balls, broadcast overlays, and matchday atmosphere, ensuring the overall Serie A experience feels authentic.

  • Is SS Lazio’s full licensing status confirmed for EA FC 26?

No. While past exclusivity with another publisher has likely expired, EA has not officially announced a new deal yet. Fans await confirmation—if finalized, Lazio would return authentically; until then, their status remains uncertain.

  • Is Atalanta BC confirmed as fully licensed in EA FC 26?

No. Similar to Lazio, Atalanta’s prior exclusive partnership appears lapsed, but no official EA agreement has been announced. We’re optimistic but must wait for EA’s confirmation before assuming authentic kits and stadium.
