EA FC 26 Squad Update (Mar 18): Over 50 New Players Added

A new EA FC 26 Squad Update (March 18, 2026) is now available across all platforms such as: PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch 2, and Nintendo Switch.

Over 50 new players with no real faces have been added to the FC 26 roster, with the vast majority being young, promising talents from across the globe.

Alongside these additions, a number of players have been removed, a new manager was added and another removed, rating adjustments have been applied, and more. Let’s take a look at everything new.

The amazing coach Ashley Cole has been added to the game with a real face, coaching the Cesena team in Serie B. It’s a strong and good addition for fans of career mode.

Consequently, Alessio Dionisi, who also has a real face in the game and manages Empoli in Serie B, has been removed. We look forward to your return.

Rating Upgrades

Several players have seen their Rating rise based on performances, table below shows the player, club, best position (POS) with the new overall rating (OVR) and potential (POT) changes.

This March 18 Squad Update may lack the headline-grabbing Real Faces of previous patches, but for Career Mode fans, it’s a goldmine.

Over 50 new players—mostly young prospects (wonderkids) across South America, MLS, and Europe—provide fresh scouting targets for long-term saves.

Note that only one player with a real face was added in the update, and a coach was added and another was removed.
