EA SPORTS has released EA FC 26 Title Update v1.4.0, now live on all platforms including PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch 2, and Nintendo Switch.
Note: All faces are now available; just download the EA FC 26 v1.4.0 update and download the latest squad update on January 7, 2026.
This update is heavily focused on authenticity, delivering well over 130 new and updated real faces across men’s and women’s football, along with new managers and legendary figures.
The result is a noticeably more immersive experience, especially for Career Mode, Kick-Off, and Football Ultimate Team.

NEW Real Faces
EA FC 26 Title Update v1.4.0 introduces 40 new real faces for men’s players, now arriving via the latest squad update dated January 7, 2026.
Burnley receive one of the biggest upgrades, with players like Hannes Delcroix, Josh Laurent, Loum Tchaouna, Lucas Pires, Max Weiß, Mike Trésor, Václav Hladký, Zian Flemming, and Maxime Estève now represented with new real faces, reflecting the club’s strong Premier League presence.
Leeds United also benefit significantly, as Ao Tanaka, Jayden Bogle, Joël Piroe, Wilfried Gnonto, and Lucas Perri all receive new real faces that better match their real-life appearance and playing style.
Across Europe, La Liga sees additions such as Sergio Carreira at RC Celta and Alfonso González Martínez at Sevilla, while Serie A gains more realism with Éderson at Atalanta, Nadir Zortea at Bologna, and Matteo Palma at Udinese.
Germany is well covered too, with a large group of Hamburger SV players including Daniel Heuer Fernandes, Giorgi Gocholeishvili, Jean-Luc Dompé, Luka Vušković, Miro Muheim, Nicolas Capaldo, Ransford-Yeboah Königsdörffer and Rayan Philippe, alongside Lennart Karl at Bayern Munich.
Outside Europe, Major League Soccer receives several new real faces such as Iván Jaime Pajuelo at CF Montréal, Paxten Aaronson at Colorado Rapids, Nectarios Triantis at Minnesota United, Andy Nájar at Nashville SC, Jeppe Tverskov at San Diego FC and Yohei Takaoka at Vancouver Whitecaps.
While the Saudi Pro League adds authenticity through Roger Ibañez at Al Ahli and Mateo Retegui at Al Qadsiah.
Final, Liga Portugal adds new real faces for Rúben Semedo at AVS Futebol SAD and Zaidu Sanusi at FC Porto, while the Ligue 1 add new face for Laurent Abergel at FC Lorient and Liga Profesional de Fútbol add River Plate star Ian Subiabre a new face too.
UPDATED Real Faces
Alongside the new additions, 24 existing real faces have been fully updated and are already live in-game.
Premier League dominate this section as well, with improved scans for Burnley players like Connor Roberts, Jacob Bruun Larsen, Josh Cullen and Marcus Edwards.
And Leeds United players include Daniel James, Ethan Ampadu, Ilia Gruev, Lukas Nmecha, Pascal Struijk, Sam Byrama and Sebastiaan Bornauw.
Other names also receive noticeable face upgrades, including James Tarkowski at Everton, Jarrod Bowen at West Ham United and Will Smallbone at Millwall in EFL Championship.
Bayern Munich fans will appreciate refreshed scans for Dayot Upamecano, Harry Kane, Jamal Musiala, Konrad Laimer and Serge Gnabry.

In addition, Antonio Conte’s real face has been fully updated at SSC Napoli, bringing his touchline presence much closer to reality.
NEW ICONs & Heroes
Title Update v1.4.0 introduces three new legendary real faces, now arriving via the latest squad update dated January 7, 2026.
Gabriel Batistuta joins the ICONs lineup, while Gilberto Silva and Micah Richards arrive as new Heroes, adding more visual depth and nostalgia to Ultimate Team and classic modes.
