Hey EA FC 26 fans! The World Cup 2026 mode is getting closer, and the roster of authentic players continues to grow.
A few weeks ago, ReFIFA was the first to confirm that the tournament would arrive in EA FC 26 as a generic “International Cup” via a Title Update (expected June 2‑4).
We’ve already revealed the real face managers who will patrol the touchlines. Now it’s time to talk about the players.
The World Cup mode will feature dozens of footballers with real faces – many of them returning from older FIFA titles or making their first appearance in EA FC 26.
From Neymar finally suiting up for Brazil to Marko Arnautović leading Austria, here’s the confirmed list of new (or returning) real face stars you’ll see this summer.
Update – May 28: Good news! The update is finally live and available to download now.
EA FC 26 Real Face Players

The World Cup 2026 mode will use official rosters, and EA has been reactivating legacy real faces and adding new scans that were previously missing.
Many of these players already had real faces in FIFA 23, FIFA 22, or FC Online, but they’ve been absent from FC 26 – until now. With the tournament update, they’re coming back.
