Every Division Rivals season now ties into the main campaign theme, such as Aqua vs. Inferno, giving you a sense of narrative continuity.
Plus, new customizable badges let you showcase your style. Set your club logo, pick a background design, and flaunt your Leaderboard rank.

New Progression System: Stars Replace Cups and Fans
Gone are the old Cups and Fans metrics. The new Stars system gives a clearer view of how close you are to the next Rank in Division Rivals.
Stars System
Each Division, up to FC Champion, requires 3 Stars to reach the next Rank. Stars are earned through winning Matches and from Bonus Points.
Earning Stars: Win matches to earn Stars directly, plus collect Bonus Points toward extra Stars.
Losing Stars: If you lose when you have no Stars in the current Rank, you drop a Rank (relegation). To soften the blow, you can earn Star Shields that protect one Star if you lose a match.
Star Shields are only relevant for the Season in which they are earned and valid for Divisions up to Legendary.
Understanding Stars and Star Shields
Stars Needed: Every Rank requires 3 Stars to climb in EA SPORTS FC Mobile.
Star Shields: These act like life jackets—if you have a Star Shield and lose a match, you keep your Stars instead of losing one. Shields are seasonal and only for Divisions up to Legendary.
Plan matches knowing when you have Shields so you can play riskier opponents or test new lineups without fear of immediate relegation.
Bonus Points: Another Path to Stars
Beyond match wins, Bonus Points let you earn Stars even without a straight victory in EA SPORTS FC Mobile:
- Match Win: 1 Star + 3 Bonus Points
- Match Draw: No Star + 2 Bonus Points
- Match Loss: -1 Star + 1 Bonus Point
Bonus Points are earned based on the outcome of your Matches, earn enough to fill up the bar to get an additional Star!
The requirements to earn a Star from Bonus Points depends on your current Division: 6 are required from Amateur to Professional and 8 are required from Professional to Legendary.
End of Season Mechanics in EA SPORTS FC Mobile
When a Division Rivals season ends, everyone faces a slight reset: you drop 5 Ranks, but not below Professional V. FC Champion players also drop 5 Ranks.
This ensures fresh competition each season while rewarding those who reached higher Divisions by starting them closer to their previous level.

Earn exciting Match and Promotion Rewards that are based on your Division by winning Matches and getting promoted to higher Divisions.
The higher your Division, the higher the Rewards will be. Promotion Rewards will also be refreshed and updated every Division Rival season!
Daily Activity Rewards
Daily Rewards are up for grabs by completing a certain amount of Matches daily!
Each game mode has their own Activity Rewards, play them all to maximise your Activity Rewards! Additionally, you can earn Event Currency to earn progress and rewards in Main Campaigns!
Weekly Leaderboards
These Leaderboards consist of 20 random players that are grouped together to duke it out for the top spot by getting as many wins as they can.
The first Weekly Leaderboard starts on Friday June 14th UTC and will run for one week, after which the Rewards that are based on your current Rank are distributed. New Leaderboard Logos will be available to show off in style!
