FC Mobile Anniversary Event: Design Kits, Balls and Boots!

Hey ReFIFA fans! Year 2 of the Anniversary Event lands in EA SPORTS FC Mobile this September — and this time EA wants the community to be the creative director. From kits and boots to match balls and soundtrack picks, you can design, submit and vote on the exact vanity items that might appear in the game.

Think of it as your club’s birthday party — you get to choose the outfit, the boot, the ball, and even the tune. Here’s everything you need to know to take part, make something brilliant, and maybe see your design live in the Locker Room.

What’s happening?

From August 13–18 (UTC), submissions open for kit, ball and boot designs. EA will shortlist the best entries, then the community votes on finalists. Winning entries may be added to EA SPORTS FC Mobile for players to equip during the Anniversary Event in September. There’s also a Player Vote (pick five favourite player items) and a Soundtrack Vote to bring back a nostalgic track — both “coming soon.”

How to take part?

Create a design for a Kit, Ball or Boot.
Follow the official guidelines below — no AI tools, no club/league/player logos or references.
Upload your single entry per vanity item via the official portal.
Share on social with #FCMAnniversary and #EAContest to show the community some love.
Wait for the shortlist and community vote. Winners may see their design in-game.

Note: You must be 18+ to enter. Only one submission allowed for each vanity item per person.

Design Rules & File Specs

Ready to create? Download the templates and submit your finished files from https://www.ea.com/en-gb/games/ea-sports-fc/fc-mobile/anniversary-vanity-item-vote and let your imagination run wild. Here’s the lowdown on each category—follow these guidelines to nail it.

Ball Design

Template available on the official portal.
Texture size: 2048 x 2048 px.
Accepted formats: .FBX / .PNG / .JPG.
Keep patterns reasonably simple — complex designs may not translate well in-game.
No AI-generated art.
No real-world leagues, clubs or player references.

Kit Design

Template available on the portal.
Choose a collar: Round, V-neck or Polo.
Design for long sleeves. Socks must be a single colour (no patterns).
Do not change the font of the kit number.
Submit preferably as .AI.
Keep patterns workable for in-game rendering; avoid overly complex textures.
No AI, and no real teams/players/leagues references.

Boot Design

Template available on the portal.
Submit preferably as .AI.
Avoid extremely intricate or layered patterns that won’t convert to the in-game model.
No AI, no real clubs/players/leagues references.

How submissions are judged?

EA will review entries and create a shortlist.
The community will vote on shortlisted designs to pick the winners.
Winners will be announced and winning vanity items may be added to the Anniversary Locker Room for players to earn or equip.
Only one winning entry per vanity slot will be used in-game.
