Meta-shifting positional changes: Imagine a winger bursting into the striker position, or a midfielder moving into defense with unexpected ability. New positions can forge chemistry links in teams you never thought possible.
Upgraded stats: All Shapeshifters receive upgrades based on their new position. Perhaps a defender who was turned into a midfielder now has improved Ball Control or Dribbling; an attacker turned into full-back receives improved Stamina and Defensive Awareness.
Special chemistry boosts: Like Globetrotters cards in the previous seasons, these cards have special chemistry attributes that allow them to fit into many squad builds and thus easily be included in hybrid squads.
